I love hats, I am a hat person, and I want more mesh hats in SL, I would also love if hair makers would make hat hair that I could wear with any hat, rather than hat hair that is all in one, although I do like those too, I JUST WANT SOME HATS!
Plus, a teeny tiny mini hat that perches on the front of your head ain’t a hat, its a hair accessory.
I feel like I should be in an episode of Dynasty today, so I am waiting on Joan Collins to show up and fight me.
Today I am going to talk about a couple of things, firstly about cuts in blogs, is my annual whinge and it’s still relevant. If you use cuts in blogs it means you can put rude stuff under it, it means that people click through if they are interested and if you are picture heavy you don’t take up an entire page of the feed. Before you say ‘but they don’t work for me!’ I suggest you use a double cut, just click cut twice, that’s it, and it’s never been a problem for me.
I am a very happy person, I might blow up, I might bitch and moan, but I am always smiling.
After my post the other day I was thinking about what else? in blogging, one thing that I do is I don’t edit my pictures for the blog, I might crop, I might put a ‘wash’ over them to give it an effect, but I don’t edit the stuff, because I don’t want to decieve anyone on the items, if the skirt doesn’t have an inside to it, or theres a gap in the mesh, I may not comment, but I don’t hide it.
I read Sasy’s amazing post the other day about the different types of Second Life fashion blogger Blogger, Blogga, Bloggrrr and it’s made me think about my blog, why I blog and am I actually helpful in anyway.
I am a fashion blogger, with a few other bits and pieces thrown in, I started blogging because I am an insufferable showoff and wanted to show people all the cool stuff I’d found in SL.
I have had many looks in SL, I have altered my shape hundreds of times, I finally made a shape that I liked about 4 years ago, so I still keep that basic idea of the shape, but still tweak it every few months or so a few points on the jaw, a little off the shoulders, just tiny tweaks that probably only I noticed. I joined SL in 2007, and I really didn’t know what I was doing or what I wanted to do here, as you can see……
I soon discovered shopping, and blogs, and SL photography, found my feet and fell in love with Second Life, I’ve taken the odd break here and there, a few months, a couple of weeks, but I always come back.
